Kevin Canty is currently the head baseball coach at Wakefield HS (MA) and has held that position since 2017. Prior to Wakefield, Coach Canty was the head baseball coach at Bishop Fenwick HS in Peabody from 2012 – 2017. Coach Canty also was a varsity assistant coach at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School from 2007 – 2012. Coach Canty has been with Show New England Baseball since 2012, coaching a variety of teams including 12u, 14u, 15u, 18u Showcase and currently coaches the 16u Showcase team, doing so since 2015. Coach Canty’s big focus at Show has always been defense/fielding as well as developing an approach to hitting that works at both the HS and college level. Coach Canty played high school baseball at Lynnfield HS and in numerous summer leagues (Inter-City, ITL and Twi-League).
